Added Value?

How does a corporate buzzword such as "added value" have any relevance to gardening? Given a postive spin, added value refers to a situation in which you receive more than you had expected for no extra cost.
My friend, if you will simply stop to smell the proverbial roses you will find added value in gardening every day of the week...
A gift of homegrown vegetables from your neighbor, precious time spent digging in the dirt with your child, a hidden nest of eggs laid carefully on a blackberry leaf.
Simply said, gardening has a hidden layer just waiting for you to slow down and take notice. One beautiful moment after another... what a blessing!
